He's gone. There are no words to discribe the emptyness that I feel. He was my rock. He always had my back. Someday I hope I can think about him without feel the pain.

Still alive
Any rumors of my demise are not true....apparently my blog was upset with me and didn't want to let me post anything. We've made up.
The holidays were wonderful. Time spent with my daughter June was wonderful. And, Elizabeth was able to join us on the 23rd as well as my step-son, Justin and his wife.
If you are a member of ANG you've received the seminar booklet....photos of both new pieces Atlantis Rising and Illusion are great.
I'm getting set for the ANG cyber class, Harmony, which starts on March 1. I had to get 46 kits together, along with 16 sets of instructions only. And, had two choices for color.....sure hope I got it all correct....won't know for sure until class starts.
In the meantime I'm working on the instructions for Illusion and the corrections for Atlantis Rising. I have to squeeze in a quick trip to Texas to teach the Memories group...two want the Rose Garden, five want Tide Pools and 15 want Solar Flare.
The pre-work has gone out and I will be getting the rest of the supplies ready for the mid April class.
Best news of all...on a personal level......my granddaughter, Nicole is pregnant, due the first of July.......I was so excited to hear that. And, she and her husband made a special trip to Vegas to have some fun and tell us personally.. I've been waiting a long time to become a great...great...grandmother. Then she upped the level of excitement when she called last week to tell me it's a GIRL!!!!!! That's the fourth generation of girls. Me, daughter Cathy, her daughter Nicole and now Nicole's daughter?????
They don't want to pick the name until she's born. Now, I just have to squeeze in some knitting time.
I have five Russian ladies who have been ordering my designs like crazy......I get one order out and get two more orders. I have an idea for a "Russian" piece and sure hope I can get to it sometime this year. I will have seminar kits for both classes and then another cyberclass, Venetian Delight. The cyber chapter is sponsoring it. If you want to do it but, weren't sure you could stitch it on your own, now would be a good time....check with them for dates etc.
Time to get back to work. Take care everyone, Ro

Happy Holidays
Happy Holidays,
I haven't posted in a looooong time. I rarely get sick. An occasional sinus infection or allergy in the spring. I got so sick, this time, with an upper respiratory infection that my dear husband even fixed dinner and did the dishes on the worst days.......my DH is old school thinking when it comes to 'women's work'. So for him to do this was a big deal. I still have a hacking cough. But, it is getting better each day.
I am headed for the Santa Cruz area on Friday, to my daughter June's home. I will help her with the baking and shopping and other preparations for Christmas. At one time or another all of the family will show up at her house so it will be a special time. I haven't seen her home, just photos so I'm looking forward to that. June is the artist in the family. She designed both my web site and this blog.
Speaking of blogs.....I will have her show me how to put up photos and charts and then I can start the 'Hilton Stitch Tutuorial' after the holidays.
I wish everyone a most happy, healthy and prosperous Holiday Season and New Year.

Monday and Laundry
Hi,
What a creature of habit I have become. It's Monday and I have to do the laundry. I could do it any time I want as there's just my husband and myself.
Happy Dance time.....I finished the instructions for Atlantis Rising. Now it's going out to my ghost pilot stitchers for corrections. I'd like to start on the instructions for Illusions, but I have to get my lessons ready for the ANG Cyber class, Harmony. The class doesn't start until March, but with registrations starting in November and the holidays coming in between I need to get a handle on those lessons.
And, we are off to California this weekend for our granddaughter, Nicole's wedding.
Hope all are well and having fun stitching.

Time and the Russians
Hi everyone,
I've been working on charts for Atlantis Rising and on a new(unnamed as yet) design, along with finishing designing Legacy and Aloha. I need to get the last two stitched if I want to submit them in January for seminar 2013. That means I don't have time right now to learn how to put photos up on the blog. I will learn in time.
I just got an email from Tatyana, my Russian friend. She gave me two sites to show what the Russians are doing with needlework.
http://needlepoint-club.blogspot.com/2011/10/blog-post_09.html#more

No matter what side of the world we are on, when it comes to needlework, we all love to sit and stitch, chat and enjoy each others accomplishments.
Back to work for me. Take care, Ro

Stitch-ins and pilot classes
We had our monthly stitch-in Saturday. We discussed everything from soup to nuts. Show and tell is always great.
I finally finished all but two stitches that I have to detail on Atlantis Rising. Making progress.
Liz Morrow has designed a new piece, Mad Miters, that she will be teaching as a cyberclass for the Cyber Chapter and we will be piloting it for her. I've read through the instructions...I do that sometimes, usually when all else fails. I'm ready to get canvas and threads out. Starting something new is always exciting. And this style of working bargello is new, unusual and looks like fun. http://www.cyberpointers.org/education.html
